Land Origination, is our specialty at SixAndWest. We offer Origination services across the entire continental US. Our access to an array of resources and proprietary processes, gives us an upper hand in originating highly qualified sites for project development.
Our mission at SixAndWest is to locate land that is uniquely qualified for our client’s portfolio. All land opportunities are put through a rigorous screening process based on criteria and guidelines set by our client.
By the time we present a land opportunity to our client for review, it has already undergone a fair amount of due diligence. Our clients accept over 85% of the opportunities we submit.
Connecting quality Landowners, to reputable Developers, is the secret to our sauce.
Site Control
After our client has accepted a land opportunity, SixAndWest will move forward with securing Site Control. With over 10 years of experience in negotiations and contracts, we are exceedingly adept at building and maintaining positive relationships; and most importantly, executing contracts and agreements.
What really sets us apart, is the value and care we place on our relationships; which builds a strong sense of trust and understanding between us and a Landowner. We feel this is what gives SixAndWest an edge when it comes to reaching agreements that serve both the Landowner and our client, the Developer.
We see development as a partnership between a Developer and a Landowner; so keeping that in mind we ensure that we work with Landowners whose interest align with the goals of the project and Developer. Easements- Access & POI
When originating land, our goal is always to find land with built in access to roads and interconnection points. But as we all know, sometimes a project is land locked. At SixAndWest, one of our core competencies is securing easements for access and/or Point of Interconnection. We have worked with countless landowners, municipalities and public works organizations, to secure needed easements and permits.
Permitting
Our business model allows us to stay flexible. We feel it is important to have an understanding of state and local permitting processes in various regions and municipalities.
Although our company got its start in California, we have a presence in over 13 States around the country, such as New York, Virginia and Indiana.
